      I am really scared.

I had a melanoma removed in february this year and i have a movable eubbery lump in my groin. Its smooth and doesnt feel fixed or hard and its right on my hip bone where my leg joins my body. So my question is what are peoples experiences of cancerous lymph nodes?

How do they typically present and feel? Do they appear to grow slowly/quickly etc?

Im ringing the nurse tomorrow but a bit freaked out =/

Where was your original primary and how deep was it?

My most recent recurrance was in a lymph node.  The Melanoma completely took over that node.  At first, it was kind of rubbery I suppose, but it got harder and harder until it was like more like a marble than rubber.  I had swelling in the surrounding area too.

Don't panic about it because you never know until you know, but it's a good idea to call and get it checked out.

Can't blame ya for being scared. But as the previous poster said, best to check it out. I've had bumps that turned out to be melanoma and bumps that did not; some hard and immobile and some rubbery. Might depend on location. Waiting is hard; wishing you a good result.
