Hello all – I'm going in tomorrow for a SLNB and WLE on my right outer leg. Had the initial biopsy a few weeks ago and it as a T3a. What can I expect for recovery? Will I be up and moving around right away? Will it take some time before I'm back to regular exercise? Wishing you well.

For me the SLNB felt like bruising. I had a reaction to the tape they used and that was much more painful. How large is your WLE? Mine was large enough that I needed a skin graft, which I always tell people is worse than having a baby! If it's not too large, you should be back to normal exercise fairly quickly. However, everyone is different!

Agreed! The SLNB is relatively minor but it will take about a week to heal. If no skin graft is required your WLE should heal in 1-2 weeks. If a skin graft is required it will take weeks-months until you're feeling back to baseline!
