I have an appointment on Tuesday, my mole looks totally benign (I think) it’s small, about half the size of a pencil eraser, totally flat and uniform – but it’s gone from light brown to dark brown and it’s slightly bigger than it was before. It’s on the bottom of my foot so I never look at it, I was shocked to see how dark it’s become when I finally noticed it.Do you think a doctor would want to biopsy something like that?
I hope they do because I don’t want to wait and worry…

Yes, generally a doctor will want to biopsy any changing mold. And if they don’t automatically do it, I’d insist.-

Isabel – the reason you are going to tell the doctor to take a biopsy is because there are quite a few patients here that were told by their doctor “Ohh that’s nothing to worry about”.
You are the paying customer, this is your life, take charge of it! Isabel, I do hope the biopsy comes back negative.
