mine Ive been told, looks anything like a bad scratch that has bled and then scabbed over to a mole with a rough tecture and a thin red line srounding it. int about a short centimeter in lengther and roughly oval in shape.
my friend paul wants the doc to look at it RIGHT now-he had something simular once that was cancer.. others say its nothing.. others say 3 weeks is soon enough.. its driving me crazy that I cant see it.
I have alot of health problems, am on social seciurity disabilty, my husband JUST died.. Im depressed and…now SCARED.

The red lines radiating outword may have either blood or from an iinfection. No Embaressment should be felt for being smart enough to check it out. More people die from not checking changing spots out than you can imagine. Keep an eye on the area, a bleeding mole should be checked out. If it comes back do get to a Dr. immediately, probably should be at least a Dermatologist. Local GP's are usually bad at diagnosing cancerous moles. It often takes a couple of months to get to ssee a Dermatolgist, so you might want to check with one and make an apoiontment if it's only available in a couple of months. If nothing shows up you will have aathe option of caanceling oor changing the apointment without haviing lost the two months.

I am sorry you have so much on your emotions right now with the loss of your husband. I think you are wise for looking into ways to find answers, though, and also think you might consider keeping the dermatology appt since the area is difficult to see for yourself. They can look with magnification to be sure nothing is amiss. It sounds lke there is nothing at all to be concerned about, but it may be good to get that peace of mind officially, so you do not have it nagging at you. Just a thought…

Tina, my question is "Doc apt" Is this GP or Dermatologost? Might should make sure she sees a Derm for peace of mind, vice a GP/PCP.
