53 YO marathon runner- divorced Mother of 8th grade twins- Athlete- Just diagnosed this month 11.2016 – metastatic melanoma starting with misdiagnosed running injury for 5+ months, in my right foot, I begged for an mri of foot and it took me 5 months, X-rays, nerve tests, a boot, cortisone shots, and mris of my entire body except my foot until 2 weeks ago. metastic melanoma – 5 large tumors in my right foot/leg and a right & left hip lymphnode.
