I am a red head with fair skin who grew up in the sixties/seventies and spent all my summers at the cottage in the water. Had many burns as at that time and sunscreen was not something “we did” . When I look at the risk factors now well….. needless to say I had a few. I became concerned with a mole on my leg that seemed to be changing so called my family doctor in March of 2010, had the mole removed in April which started my process with Melanoma stage IIIA . I have just finished my year long Interferon treatment and my main focus is to remain NED
