Bio

I was diagnosed with stage 1B in 2009. In mid 2017, 7 years later, I had a CT of my neck to follow up on nerve issues after surgery. Incidentally a 1.2 cm nodule was found in my right upper lung (very upper or would never have been seen on the scan). After following the module for 3 months, it doubled. The biopsy came back as metastatic melanoma. PET showed another met in the liver. I started Yervoy/Opdivo treatment in Oct 2017. First scan in Jan 2018 showed lung met was gone and liver met was almost gone. March CT was first NED scan. Scans have been clear since. Trying to adapt to a new view of life and the future!
