Bio

I am a married mother of three grown children and the grandmother to four grandchildren. I have a doctorate in Adult Education and used that degree to direct the Faculty Center for Teaching & Instructional Technology at Penn State Harrisburg until my retirement 3/31/2016 to fight melanoma full-time. After two gamma knife treatments to erase a brain tumor, I have left-side weakness resulting from edema and necrosis. This has greatly impacted my movement and prior activities. I still love being outside, watching the birds at our feeders, and practicing gratitude.
