Bio

My name is Carol and my brother was diagnosed in March of 2013 with stage IV melanoma of the peritonium and 4 nods with no primary skin lesion. We are very close and live just a few miles from one another. He has always taken care of me and now it is my turn to do whatever I can for him. My husband and sons are very close to him as well. He has two teenagers as well and has been married for twenty years. He is a faithful Christian and a wonderful man. He has been through bio chemo with IL2, no shrinkage or response and the treatment was so brutal on his body with little benifit. He has the NRAS and not BRAF which makes this more difficult to treat. He has started the Merek anti pd1 trail. From may to August his tors had grown 225% and he need help soon very soon! The trial drug worked quickly and after 3 treatments his shrinkage was nothing less than a miricle. After the 4th treatment he has started showing signs the tumors are growing agan. We are hopeful and faithful as we wait for the first set of scans. He is my hero!
