Bio

48 yr old Australian woman. Played lots of sport outside and worshipped the sun and beach my whole life. Childhood was in an era where sun protection wasn’t as recognised. Sunscreens washed off, and cancer prevention wasn’t a common topic. I am generally healthy but have a lot of moles! Noticed a mole had changed on my chest one day and went to doc who partially biopsied it, and then referred to Redimed where the surgeon couldn’t believe they did that; something about margins not able to be detected as a result, so he later excised it, with further wider excision required. 2 years on, no recurrence detected. 3 month checks ongoing
