He said that I could wait two weeks and let it heal so he could see it better or have a biopsy. He wasn't too concerned and he said everything I described sounded good. I told him to go ahead and test it which I hate but I would worry. I believe he would have not given me a choice if he was super concerned.

I'm going tomorrow to have it looked at. I'm worried sick because the nurse said he would probably sample it. I guess they knew I was worried or they are concerned. I hate biopsies and the worry. Anyone else with feedback I would appreciate.

Thank you! I had thought about mole mapping. Your six moles removed makes me feel better. Its just stressful but I know that having more moles removed may just be part of this.

Thanks for responding. She didn't tell me it had changed and i think she just didnt like it for the color. It was just always a darker mole since childhood. I agree the thought crossed my mind to leave it but I usually go with what they say. Thanks so much!

I wanted to give you my story. I was in your same place I had stage 1 and it was removed   with wide excision. I also have a baby and little girl. It's scary and hard but you've got this early even earlier than myself. I have anxiety already but this has made it worse. Don't let this ruin your days. I had all this done almost a year ago. I have my 3 month visits and everything has been fine. I've tLked with a lot of people and it seems having something like this while young and with pregnancy etc. is fairly more common than I thought. Not saying yours was from pregnancy but you mentioned your toddler. Just try to not think the worst. The Internet can be a good thing but sometimes not. Be aware of course but be happy as well. You have caught this so early and you are lucky.

Thank you! That's what Ive researched they didn't take the whole thing just punch biopsy but I'm still hopeful it is fine. I know I have a great surgeon and I've got good info so far. Typically how long do results come back for clear margins. Waiting is the worst part.
