Today I had the biopsy done. It looked clean inside. It wasnt a deep biopsy but it was more of a scoop. It hurts so bad after the local anestheisa had worn off.
Im going to try and be calm until I get the results in 2 and a half weeks.. I will update later.

Thank you so much for all your responses, you guys are truly amazing and very supportive. Thanks Dian for such wonderful words about how not to worry about future. It helped very much and knocked me back to reality.
I have some good news that, today might be my lucky day or whatever. I saw the dermatologist today that I was pre scheduled, and surprisngly I got another call from another derms office that an appointment was cancelled and he had an opening in the afternoon.
So I went to the first dermatologist who was a very elderly doctor with many years of experience. She observed it and said she is not too concerned about it as she is certain the its hemangioma, blood vessels and its not even a mole.
I brought up the concern about it being Acral melanoma but she said nope its not but I am going to give you peace of mind and do a biopsy, come back this week Friday, lets do it if I want to. Its easier for you to rest on the weekend if its done on Friday. She was very reasonable.
Now I went to the 2nd dermatologist afternoon (its a high end cosmetic dermatology clinic) who leaned over and had a quick look for a second and said, you know what lets not even bother talking about it, we will do a biopsy and find out what it is and referred me to his plastic surgeon, and said he will just scoop it off.
But the date with the pastic surgeon was 2 weeks from now. The pastic surgeons office said they will take 3 weeks for the result. The first derm said she will have it in 2 weeks.
Does it matter who does the biopsy? I am not really concerned about any cosmetic appearnece as it is under the foot. is it worth waiting to go with the plastic surgeon?
I feel like the sooner the better and get it done this Friday and get the result in the next 2 weeks rather than waiting for 2 more weeks + 3 weeks for the results with the platic surgeon.

I think I am losing my mind over this. I feel fine a few hours and all of a sudden I get this panick mode. I didn't think it was a big deal before but the paranoia is starting to get to me.
Today I very pretty girl smiled at me and came talk to me. But I had zero interest or motivation on anything and just looked away. I feel awful that this fear is starting me make me feel hopeless.
I mean I am not afraid of death or anything but I don't know what it is, unknown fear of your life style change? I stopped going to the gym for the past 4 days now, eating whatever junk I normally avoid.
How do I not let this get to me?

Thank you Janner. Can you PM me your email address Janner. I also want Dian's email address. I tried sending you both PM's but it was triggering spam alert. It is just something I want to ask to express some gratitude.
Thank you.

Oh thanks the previous thread I couldn't find it. Glad it's not lost.
I don't have any history of Melanoma, as a matter of fact I only got familiar with the word melanoma 3 or 4 months ago, a friend of mine (brown guy who grew up in Canada unlike me, I moved here) he said something called melanoma, and he thinks it is a very low percentage out there, and the sun screen companies are basically blowing it out of propotion and the white people are their target customers, to get them paranoid and buy sun screen lotion. I was curious and looked it up. (I don't believe what he said though)
That's how I got to know about Melanoma, and it can also affect ethnic skin types is something I learned later on.
i am going to push for shave biopsy, but if the doctor is 100% sure it's hemangioma, I will go to another doctor and see if he says it is 100% hemangioma and didn't want to biopsy it. But I think it will give me peace of mind if they just biopsy it, even shave biopsy is fine with me. I don't mind it being on my foot if it is benign as it never bothered me, and it is on the sole, so no cosmetic concerns there. All I want to confirm is that it is benign or not.
