In Sept 2914 day after I turned 38 I was diagnosed w breast cancer followed by a masectomy, chemo,herceptin and many life saving and odd surgeries since. Only to now not even 4 months out of chemo be diagnosed with acral lentiginous melanoma. For a black spot I had on my foot well before I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My oncologist continued to brush it off as if it was nothing g so that’s what I did. Dermatologist took one look and was removing it within 20 min via shave biopsy.
