Absolutely WONDERFUL news, Dawn!  Every time i'm at Moffitt i wonder if i'm passing you in the hall πŸ™‚  I too received great news last week.  Total tumor masses shrunk by 50% with previous smaller nodules around my lungs completely disappeared!  YIPPEE for both of us – and continued success on this trial!!!

I also had the same exact symptoms after 17 days (i started the same week as Dawn above πŸ™‚ ).  Same result.  I was also taken off the meds for 3 days, then put back on one at a time.  No problems since then.  I have my 2 month scans next week.  Definitely call your trial doc – they'll want to track his symptoms.  They won't take him off unless something else is worrying them – ie blood test results, etc.  I don't think he has anything to worry about πŸ™‚  Good luck!

                        Hi Dawn –

I had to reply when i saw your post.  I also started the BRAF/MEK combo trial at Moffit (Dr. Kudchadkar) – looks like the day before you (3/2/11). Good luck to you!!!
