Bio | Original diagnosis was back in 2013 with a new irritating mole. Had it surgically removed at MSKCC. Was told all was well and we caught it early. Done… right. Fast forward 3 years, I hit 40 and I thought these new aches and pains were part of getting older. Until I developed some bumps on my scalp that I had my dermatologist biopsy during my regular 6 month check up. That came back as metastatic melanoma. Then scans and MRI’s revealed tumors and lesions in my sacrum, hip, lumbar and thoracic vertebrae, shoulder, sternum, lung and liver. Keeping a positive attitude and focusing on supporting my body with super healthy nutrition and laughs! |
