I've been on that combo for about a month and a half. The first week was so bad with gi side effects and nausea, but slowly they started getting better and now I have no side effects at all. I feel great and the combo is working. I hope you have very minimal side effects, but If you do at first please stick with it and know that things will get better.

              Hello,

im not sure i can offer much help but I just had a craniotomy last week so I thought I'd share my experience.

Im 30 years old and had a tumor about 12 mm removed. It was pretty close to the surface they told me. I stayed over night in the hospital and was able to leave the next morning. It had very little pain, and recovery was very easy for me. I was extremely fatigued but that was it. I've had many surgeries including two lung resections, an eye muscle removed, and various subcutaneous tumors removed. This was the easiest surgery of all of them. I realize your fathers situation is different, and age and overall health may have played a role in my easy recovery. I just wanted to share. I hope for the best for your dad!

I saw that! I've previously used yervoy, does that disqualify me from receiving the combo? Is it possible insurance companies will ok this combo with previous treatment? I've been waiting so long for this to be approved.

I agree! I've been anxiously awaiting this combo approval while on my BRAF drugs, is there anyway insurance might cover this for people that have done Yervoy or nivo alone previously?

It took about 5 days to notice my tumors in my abdomen were shrinking, and in about a week a couple were completely gone. I've been on it 12 days now and its working more and more.
