Bio

My husband was 64 when melanoma was discovered in a “cyst” removed from his scalp. There was no sign of it on the skin, so the original pathology report diagnosed it as metastatic. Since the surgery and scans found no evidence of disease, the docs now believe this was the primary lesion and they have staged it at 2B. He completed the GVAX melanoma vaccine trial in late January 2013 in the second group (high dose of vaccine, no cyclophosphamide).
