Just read the report and it referenced prior scans. So yes Wednesday sucked. Today is Friday and I have started the process again. Today has been the process of facilitating lung biopsy, arranging pain meds through the transition to medical oncology.

Scan highlighted 3 lesions in lungs. Largest 3.6×2.5. Cm
        Lesion on L11
        Lesion on rib

        Enlarged lymph nodes in chest.

I must be in shock because oddly I am not yet panicked.

              Hi Tulsa

My graft on my scalp was quite large as well. I returned to my plastic surgeon a year and 2 years after receiving graft and he closed the graft so now it is barely noticeable. Basically he removed the graft with the skin the was originally on my scalp. In addition the indentation was also substantially reduced.

              Good luck

I had 4 injections around my primary. I was warned it could hurt. The 1st was barely noticeable. By the 4th there was a definite pain. It lasted very short. On the 10 point scale it was a 6-7.
I have had broken ribs, crushed toe, ruptured spleen, and nerve damage in neck that were all substantially more painful.

You will be fine just focus on your breathing and the procedure will be over very quickly.

                Good luck

Btw the other issues had nothing to do with my care or treatment

I am also 3a. I noticed a swollen node on the opposite side of my primary approximately 6 months after surgery. My ENT ensured me it was not related and ordered a CT. The results came back as negative (3 years ago). Apparently it alway been swollen and I never noticed it.

                    Hopefully yours is similar

                    Best wishes

                      Hi Tlynam

My primary was 1.7mm thick so 2cm was removed on both sides and scraped to the skull. Due to the diameter of the primary the ellipsis was over 6 inches in length. Best way to describe I had a 6 by 2.5 inche bald spot (divot) removed from scalp. Now it is gone. It took 2 surgeries. I could go back for a third but the difference it would make is negligible

Sorry I left out recovery time. I returned 2 weeks after each procedure to have sutures removed. I had to wait 12 months after each surgery including graft to have the site closed. I did not miss any time from work for the follow up procedures. Pain was minor Tylenol for the first couple of days

Yes hair grows because the site of the incision is covered with hair covered scalp skin that was stretched. Both follow up surgeries were done as minor procedures with local anesthetic. There was minor pain (1-2) on the first few days after due to the tightness of the skin being pulled together and sutured.
Arguably the two worst parts of the procedure were listening to the surgeon explain what he was doing and why he was doing it to his residents and smelling the cauterization.

The surgeon cut the graft and stretched my skin that was always on my scalp. The Graft (bald spot) was removed by stretching the skin that always existed on my scalp. It was a similar procedure they would use for a facelift. The skin they removed was the graft.

                            I hope that helps explain

Stay current with your Derm. My GP open looking at my primary told me he did not think it was much to worry about as there was hair growing out of it.

Welcome back. Here is a link I found online regarding Creatine and the immune system. https://www.exercise.com/learn/is-creatine-good-for-the-immune-system/

I am not advocating it as factual or accurate. Also please note it is not from a sourced scientific/medical publication. Also there isn’t any trial based information that private’s empirical evidence.

It just an FYI based on a google search of creatine, cancer and immunotherapy.

Enjoy the rest of your day
