        I was genuinely shocked tonight when I received a voicemail from the office at 6 pm telling me that it was an atypical mole but benign!! I had prepared myself for worst case scenario and was certain I wouldn’t hear back until next week.

        This has been such an eye opening experience. Within the last few years I’ve been much more careful with applying 30+ sunscreen but this has truly changed me. I’ll be wearing the same sunscreen my kids wear from now on and will surely stay out of the sun as much as possible. I’ve always loved the sun and tan pretty easily. I always thought it was such a great idea to get a “base tan” before going to the beach. Ugh.

        Anyway, sorry for the ramblings and thank you again for reading.
