Bio

Hi! My name is Julia, and I am a 24 year old, hula-hooping, cat-loving, cancer survivor! I, like most people, find it unusually uncomfortable to talk about myself, but here goes…something?! I graduated my undergrad in 2016 amidst this cancer mess, and I am currently taking prerequisites at a community college to go back to school for my second Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing through an accelerated program come 2021 in hope to obtain my RN license! I have a wonderful partner, Kurt, who I met during my undergrad, and he is currently in an accelerated Second Degree Bachelor’s program for nursing as well. I currently work full-time at a health insurance company as a Care Coordinator. My first degree is in Sociology and French, so I have a few years of Social Work under my belt working with various populations. I love to hula hoop dance (ask me about it sometime!), and I am a vegetarian. Boom. And that’s how the cookie crumbles or whatever!
