Bio

I’m 38 years old, mom to a two-year-old daughter and about to become mom again to identical twin girls in just a few weeks. I live outside of Boston, MA.I grew up in a family that worshipped the beach and spent weeks and weeks every summer in the sun, though always protected. Couple that with plenty of moles and freckles and I’ve always been aware of them and how they’re changing. My diagnosis was rough to take, given that I was pregnant at the time; all of a sudden this future with these beautiful girls I’m raising/going to raise was put into doubt. I also lost my mother just over a year ago to metastatic breast cancer, so with her experience in my head I had to battle hard to not take a pessimistic view of my future. But my clear margins and clean lymph nodes have restored the faith, and I’m looking forward to welcoming these two little babies in a few weeks without having to worry about anything else for the time being.

I work in PR and communications here in the Boston area, as does my husband. We love food and cooking, as well as music and spending time with family. Though once these two girls arrive I doubt we’re going to have time for much else!
