I moved to NC mid-September to live with my mom. She had a small “bump” removed from her nose right before I got here. She just received a call with the diagnosis of melanoma on the side of her nose 10/5/21. Has been referred to plastic surgeon who won’t see her until 11/9/21 which is first visit post diagnosis. No one has mentioned oncologist at this point. I’m nervous about waiting so long for treatment or even staging. Looking for information and support.
