        Seriously?

I've had several changing moles NOT be melanoma. I've had regular skin checks for 10-15 years and my dermatologist has biopsied 8-10 times for things that look suspicious or have changed. Until this year, they have all been fine. So when she hit the jackpot this year with both basal cell and melanoma, I was surprised. I hope you get a good report.

Thanks for the encouraging words, Jenn. I saw my surgeon today. I will have my excision surgery in 3 weeks. Wish I didn't have to wait so long, but he assured me it would be okay bc it's so early. I hope so.  Best wishes to you.
