I am 20 years old and have just been diagnosed with stage 0 melanoma on my right thigh and stage 1 melanoma on my left calf. I have never been to a tanning salon nor am i a sun worshipper. I know my story is much better than others, I cant help but feel scared. I am extremely worried that there is another spot of melanoma lurking on my body that we haven’t discovered yet. I am also worried that if we find another spot, it will be at a much higher stage. I am only 20 years old and was diagnosed for the first time on January 14, 2017 and a second time on January 27, 2017 but it is all happening so fast and i feel extremely scared of what my future holds because i have had genetic testing done.
