Bio | I have been seeing my dermatologist every 6 months for the last 12 years. I have had basal and squamous cell removals. I had melanoma on my arm 11 years ago which was removed in the dermatologist office. My current diagnosis occurred when a supposed common wart was removed from the base of my fourth toe. Unfortunately, it was melanoma. I had a final surgical to complete removal of tumor which resulted in the amputation of 3 toes. I am receiving immunotherapy to prevent melanoma as I am very high risk due to the thickness(depth) of tumor. My initial diagnosis was Dec 26, 2018. My surgery was Jan 24,2019. I am a newbie b |
