        Thank you so much for the encouragement! I am  lying flat with fever and chills and wondering if this will happen all the time. When I was on it in 2015 I think it was several months before the fevers started. This time I have only been on it 10 days. Your message really gave me hope. Thank you.

          Thank you. I will need to check with my oncologist. I wonder if this will make me have to stop keytruda???

            Yervoy got rid of melanoma in my lungs and liver nut I had to stop because of severe colitis. Keytruda has been keeping my organs clear since then. The original tumor on the chest area is not stable, however and has grown. I had stereotactic rafiation and am waiting to see if it has helped bring this under control.  Thanks for asking. It's a journey…….

              May God bless you, your sister, and her family.  This is truly an evil disease, but know that the Lord and love are stronger. The love between sisters is like no other…..she knows you love her….and though it is little comfort to you right now, you really are with her in spirit. My dear sister prays for me all the time as I fight this disease, so I know personally how much that means. I will keep you in my prayers. I hope your husband gets along well. I pray that you will feel a peace that comes from God.

I started the combo today….I am flushed in the face, tired, and slight headache….didn't really do much of anything today. I took the mekinist this am with tafinlar….wonder if I would feel better taking it with the night dose of tafinlar…maybe sleep through some of the reactions.  The flushed face puzzles me…don't seem to have a fever…..Did any of you notice flushing….or that taking mekinist morning or night made a difference?

                          I surely hope you can resume Keytruda soon.  Was the hypothyroidism caused by the combo or by Keytruda..or what?  This disease is so unpredictable!

                                He has said that since I am braf+, I have to take the combo first before I will be eligible for pd-1…. I really wish that access wasn't limited…wonder when it will open up??
