So sad to read this news…!

as a symbolic gesture i have just donated the price of a star wars' ticket to MRF, in memory of Artie-arthurjedi007.

i once saw a tombstone which read "nicht gestorben, nur vorausgegangen", which means approximately "you have not died, just gone ahead of us".

Artie, you who fought so hard, may the force be with you on your journey ahead of us, and may it be a painless, and wonderful journey.

              Hi Artie,

i just want to let you know that I am thinking of you, as always. I m so sorry to hear about your difficulties and your pain, your discouragement and everything. I sincerely hope you will find peace, whichever decision you make. I really feel for you. And as you have already read in several replies to your post, I agree that you are not letting anyone down, it is brave of you to share your feelings and thoughts in such an honest way. I also hope it brings you some relief to have "let it out", and to read all the replies to your post.

              keeping you in my prayers,

              susannah

                          Hi,

my late husband was told by his melanoma specialist to take it on an empty stomach for better effect, and make sure there were about 12 hours between the two takes.

So he would have breakfast at 9am at the latest, take the medicine at 11 am, have lunch two hours later, have supper around 7pm and take second dosage at about 10pm.

also, they told him not to have any grapefruit, as this could interfere with the effect of the medication, but you probably already know this.

hope this helps, all the best!
