Bio

I am a feisty and positive 52 year old woman, wife, mother, and friend. I have always had a heart to help people but since my diagnosis with Stage 3 melanoma I am now on a melanoma mission to raise melanoma awareness worldwide through various methods of social networking such as my youtube videos of “My journey with defeating Stage 3 Nodular Malignant Melanoma” and my Facebook page called The Cancer SPOT. My page is linked to my twitter account of DonnaPiunt@DonnaPiunt. I desire to raise melanoma awareness worldwide, in my 3 local middle and high schools, and plan to lobby the proposed under 18 ban the tan bill in Harrisburg and share my story to get the word out. I created a equation for what my mission is for my page: Melanoma Awareness + Inspire + Humor = The Cancer SPOT and I desire to support my fellow warriors, survivors, and caregivers that are affected by this horrible beast. My mission and passion has inspired me to write to influent people such as President and Michelle Obama, Pa Senators, Tv talk show hosts, Radio stations, melanoma foundations and organizations to help reach people and support research.
