Married 43 years. Two adult children; 3 grandchildren. 1974 Graduate University of Oregon, BA Political Science. Court reporter for 25 years. Served in Oregon State Legislature 1999-2009 (4 years in the House; 6 in the Senate). Served as USDA Rural Development State Director in Oregon as a political appointee of President Obama from 2009-2017. Currently I’m director of the Oregon Department of State Lands.
