Indispensable for me, my body and my mind!

I do as much as I can and try to improve continually and if I stumble with a stone on the way no matter I begin again as soon as I can

              Hello Rita,

After resected a nodule in my brain and some debate, I had whole brain radiation in 2013 (based on high probability of recurrence).

I was very concerned about side effects.

Results were great. After that I had 4 new metastasis in different places but brain is always clear.

My side effect was extreme fatigue for months but not pain just all day on bed the first months. I need 8 months to get back to work but, so far, brain is not an issue anymore.

I am doing well in pembro since Decemeber 2015 (19 dosis)

Best regards for Charles and you,

              Guillermo (from Buenos Aires, Argentina)

I have my first CTscan after 4th infusion of pembro.

However, first of that I was also begginig radiotherapy for nodules I had in the muscles on my waist.

I had a CTscan in order to plan the radiotherapy (just a couple of days after my 2nd infusion) and asked the radiotherapist for the size of the biggest nodule before begginig the radiotherapy.

Surprisingly the nodule was almost half of the previous size. Pembro can be great!

I think I could have avoided the radiotherapy and let pembro alone do the job.

So far, yesterday I had my  18th infusion

Ask your oncologist for a CTscan!!!

                          Hi Linda,

sorry to hear you have to deal with this.

In my case I am Stage IV ( 4 previos metastasis resolved: lymph nodes, brain, adrenal and thitgt subcutáneos) and had subcutáneos nodes in my back I began Keytruda December 28, 2015 and 25 applications of radiotherapy on february 2016. Both díd a great work together: no more nodes in my back and mild typical side effects of radiotherapy.

I had my 15th keytruda application last week and I am doing ver y well.

                          Keytruda is grea!

                          Good luck!!!

                                Just my experience…

I am an advocate for keytruda,  I am in my 14th (tomorrow the next one) doses with very good results and no side effects

I went before thru five metastasis: lymph nodes (resection and radiotherapy), brain (resection and radiotherapy in the whole brain, left adrenal (resection) and metabolic traces subcutaneous that  became nodes inside the right thigh close to the bone (radiotheraphy) and subcutaneous in my back (radiotheraphy). These last three in six months.

I began with keytruda on December 2015; almost at the same time I had the CTscan for the planning of the radiotherapy  in my back. This scan (with just two doses of keytruda) showed the node in my back was almost half of the size of the previous scan.

After months of nodes and continuous treatments (including ipi before with no side effects but poor results); suddenly, with keytruda no more nodes and more clear images.

                                Good luck!
